What is expected of my Lion Scout & me?
Your new Tiger scout will be required to complete 5 "Core" Adventures and (1) Elective Adventure in order to receive his "Lion Rank / Badge"
  1. Complete each of the following Tiger "Core" required adventures with your den or family:
    • Lion's Honor
    • Fun on the Run!
    • Animal Kingdom
    • Mountain Lion
    • King of the Jungle
  1. Complete at least one Lion Elective Adventure of your den or family's choosing.
Ideally we would like to have the scouts complete these advancement requirements by end of February or March. If any of the adventure requirements are missed it will be up to the parent to make this item up. Your Den Leader will be happy to work with you on any make up items that are needed.

The defined / required adventures are designed to be worked on in the den. It is the Den Leader's choice if he wants each scout to pick their own elective or if he wants all scouts to do the same one as a den.

Once Core / required adventures are completed, there are a total of 13 elective adventures for your Tiger to work on if he would like to earn extra belt loops.

Login to Scoutbook on any computer or mobile device so you can track your Scout's progress.

All Cub Scouts should own a pack t-shirt to wear while playing sports, going to camp, or participating in other active, physical, or messy activities (den or pack leaders will provide advance notice of any occasion when they should wear a pack t-shirt). Family members are also encouraged to purchase pack t-shirts and wear them at pack and den events. For 2018, we have an updated design.  The shirt is a wicking material that will make it more comfortable for our warm weather outdoor activities.  If you already own a previous pack shirt, you can continue to wear the old style or ...

  • Family Talent Survey Pack 693 has grown tremendously.  By comparison we are now more than 5 times larger than we were last year.  This is awesome, but it also means we are going to need lots of parent help this year to have a successful Scouting year!  Cub Scouting is truly a family program, so there are plenty of opportunities to work together to help your Scout grow.  To assist us in matching needs to talents, interests, and expertise, we ask that each parent, guardian, grandparent, etc complete the Family Talent Survey below.  We are looking forward to a great Scouting Season!

  • Uniforms Here is a Uniform Checklist promised to you on Thursday.  We ask all scouts to have their uniforms by the November Pack Meeting at the latest.  As a reminder, we are a "Waist Up" unit meaning Scout Pants and Socks are optional.  If you choose not to wear Scout Pants we ask that a nice pair of Jeans be worn.  In addition to the uniform pieces, Closed toed shoes should be worn to all Scouting Events (no flip flops).  This is for safety reasons. We recommend buying uniforms a size larger.  Your Scout grows fast and this avoids having to purchase a new uniform before he/she switches to a new uniform.  If you need help sewing patches on, ask ...
